Bret Michaels is a multi-platinum global superstar who has turned his passion for music into a 26 plus year career that encompasses legendary songs with over 32 million records sold, packed-to-capacity shows and sold out tours along with song collaborations with the biggest artists in the industry.
Bret's solo career has charted his own course with multiple solo albums, the most recent of which was Custom Built, released in July 2010. The album topped the charts, reaching #1 on Billboards Hard Rock list. His current album release is set for November of 2012, entitled Bret Michaels: Good Songs and Great Friends, where he is joined by a crew of legendary artists, who just happen to be great friends. The album contributors is a who's who list including Loretta Lynn, Jimmy Buffett, Ace Frehley of Kiss, Michael Anthony of Van Halen and Lynyrd Skynyrd, to name a few.
Currently, Bret is selling out venues across the country on his "Get Your Rock On" solo tour. He will continue rocking throughout 2012 and into the New Year with dates spanning into 2013.

Even though music is Bret’s first passion, the multi-talented performer continues to challenge himself to take on new projects in music, business and beyond. Teaming with Vh1, he starred in a string of reality shows including "Rock of Love," which is one of the most successful in Vh1's history followed by the docu-series "Life As I Know It." In 2010, Bret competed in Donald Trump's NBC hit, "Celebrity Apprentice," ultimately winning the title, which led to the launch of his best selling Trop-A-Rocka Snapple drink becoming a permanent part of Snapple's product line.
Bret also partnered with legendary guitar company Dean Guitars to design the signature Bret Michaels series which was followed by a partnership with the retail giant PetSmart to launch his signature line of pet products in June of 2012. Both ventures have been wildly successful.
Grateful for his success and being in a position to raise awareness for issues that are close to his heart, philanthropy is a large part of Bret Michaels life today. He has established The Bret Michaels Life Rocks Foundation. Although the foundation supports numerous charities, the primary recipients of the foundation are the American Diabetes Association, St. Judes Children's hospital, children's cancer organizations, Wounded Warriors Project and No Kill Animal Shelters.
Rising to fame as the front man of Poison, one of rock's most iconic and enduring bands, he helped define the rock 'n' roll scene.
